10円をにぎりしめたら、向かう先は駄菓子屋。
何年か前、宇多津を車で走っていると、路地で駄菓子屋を見つけたのでわぉ！とかけ込んだ。
「おばちゃん！こんなところでこんなお店しょんや！え〜の！なんか買うわ！」と出てきた主に言おうものなら「何がえんな(;-_-+こんなほっこげな店……」と言われたことがある。
ほっこげなとは、駄菓子屋がそんなにつまらん商売なのか？
ずっと不思議だった。
駄菓子屋がもうかっているのかどうか。
とどめはこの間テレビでやっていた駄菓子工場の番組。
一社にいくつかのブランドがあるのかと思いきや、一社一商品のみという工場も少なくない。
家族でやっているところ、台所程のスペースでお父さんが一人でつくっているところ。
市場価格が10円のものを生産するこの人達は一体どれだけ作ったらよいのだか？
モロッコヨーグル(ふたが象の絵のヨーグルト)、梅ジャム(わかる？)それぞれ全国で一社だけ。
完全な独占企業といえば聞こえはよいけど、一人から数人でやっている。
ちなみに梅ジャムは今のお父さんが無くなれば生産も中止になる。80を過ぎた本人がそう話していたのがえらいせつなかった。

高級洋菓子をたまには自分で買って食べることもできるようになったけれど、その美味しさにはまっても、駄菓子は別格。

ほっこげなといって、後継ぎがいなくなって好きだった駄菓子が無くなってゆくのね(;_;)

    ヨーグルトって小さいプラスチックの容器に入ってたものですかね？
    最近はＳＡＴＹとかで売ってますが、やはりお婆さんがやってる様な小さな店の方が雰囲気が良いですね。梅ジャムはテレビで知ってましたが実物は知りません。

    あっ、この間久々にKUNIでお見かけしましたよ(^_^)お変わりない様子でなによりでした[猫]

    そうそう。
    そのヨーグルトです。
    あれはなんとなくヨーグルトというよりもクリームなんだけど……
    私はこれと、キャベツ太郎がすきでした。

    この間はというと一人でテンパっていた時かな？

    この間は日曜日です。
    テンパってる様には見えませんでしたがwww見事翌日、雨がちょろっとふりました(^-^)

    キャベツ太郎はかなりの美味ですねヽ(≧▽≦)/
