小雪のコマーシャルを見て以来ハイボールがお気に入りのわたくしです。
といってもうちで飲む時には、話相手でもいない限り一杯ぐらいで満足するので、ほぼ毎回炭酸を余らせています。
何日か放置していると、気が抜けているので結局捨てるしかないのがかなり惜しまれていた。
新鮮なうちに何かに使えないかと、思い付いたのは……
去年研修旅行で行った、東京のレストランの自家製ジンジャーエール。
自然な味で美味しかったのを思い出しレシピもわからないまま作る事にした。
お酢でつくるサワードリンクというのがあるので、こんなもんだろとりんご酢にしょうがスライスを一日程付けておいた。
翌日食べてみると激辛で咳き込むわ、酢のせいでむせるわでこれは、甘さが足りないのだろうとはちみつを入れてさらに翌日。
量が少なかったのだろう。炭酸を入れて飲んでみたけれどそれはジンジャーエールではなかった………。
ならば梅酒のイメージで氷砂糖を入れてみたら翌日にはすっかり溶けていい具合になっていたのだけれど………
最初から酢がいけなかったのだと気が付いた(*_*)
そもそもジンジャーエールにお酢の味などしない。
密閉瓶に大量につまったしょうがは寿司屋のガリのようにピンク色になりました。
味も厚切りのガリそのものでまぁこれはこれでいけるかとハイボールのお供になりました。

この間ハイボールを嗜んでいた時1lの炭酸水の気が抜ける間も無く使いきった私ってwww
それにしても辛さに甘さで対抗とは…何にせよしょうがの味を出すには漬ける時間を長くするとひょっとしたらよいかもですねそうしたらジンジャーエールに半歩近づくかも。あくまでも勘ですよ

ジンジャーエールをつくろうと思ったのはもうひとつ理由があって、市販のやつは香料だけでほんとのしょうがが入っているのはないって聞いたから。

I think this has gotta be some form of evolutionary trait to determine what type of person someone is. Whether they are out to get vengence, if they are friendly, a foe and dangerous. Many would need to understand how to work with to them.

I consume about 4 ounces a day, I will start my day with around 2 and then transition on to a handful other types. I think the the better the quality the better the choice.
